Blue Ribbon Schools ... Again!

On Monday morning all Bedford schools will be recognized as Blue Ribbon schools by the NH Partners in Education for superior volunteerism. Bedford has routinely enjoyed this annual recognition due in large part to the efforts of the Bedford Parent-Teacher Group (PTG). Year in, year out, the PTG puts in thousands of volunteer hours in all of our schools to support teachers, administrators and most importantly our students. Last year volunteers logged 36,183 hours in Bedford schools, approximately 1,500 hours more than in 2008/09. We thank all of our volunteers for their commitment to public education.
