At the December 19, 2011 meeting, the Bedford School Board concluded its review of the FY2013 Preliminary Budget. The FY2013 Preliminary Budget is approximately $60.0 million, $330,000 less than FY2012. This does not include the cost items associated with collective bargaining agreements, which will be presented to voters in separate articles. The FY2013 Preliminary Default Budget is approximately $315,000 higher.
The next step in the budget development process is for the school board to hold a budget hearing and subsequent to the hearing, formally adopt the "bottom line" operating budget. The budget hearing will take place on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 @ 7:00 p.m. at BCTV. The "snow date" for the budget hearing is Thursday, January 5, 2012 @ 7:00 p.m. at BCTV. At the conclusion of the hearing, the board will recess the hearing and then convene a meeting to vote on the FY2013 "bottom line" operating budget and determine the board's recommendations for warrant articles. The board could make adjustments to the preliminary budget at this time.

Previously, Tim served as Bedford's Assistant Superintendent for Finance (2001-2006), Principal of Concord (NH) High School (1997-2001), and Principal of Merrimack (NH) High School (1988-1997).
